Tips for Maintaining Your Hardwood FloorsCaring for your new hardwood floor is simple. Here are our recommendations to help you to maintain your wood floor.
- Don't use oil soap. There are many commercial oil-based soaps or wax-based cleaning products that may damage or dull the finish of your hardwood floor.
- Use chair glides. Narrow wheels, sharp wooden or metal furniture legs can scratch and dent hardwood floors.
- Simply sweeping or Swiffering on a regular basis is best for your floors. Small stones, mud and gritty dirt tracked in from outdoors can scratch the finish of your hardwood floors. Use a soft-bristled brush when vacuuming.
- Wipe spills immediately. When accidents happen and some liquid spills on your hardwood floors, wipe immediately with a slightly damp white cloth or paper towel.
"We just want to thank you for the great work that was done at our house. The floors look beautiful. Nick was very pleasant and always had a quick and knowledgeable answer to our questions. We also have to say what an amazing person you have been blessed with in Eddie. He is a genuine great person and his work ethic shows how much he cares about his customer and his craft. We have done a lot of renovations to this house and he is by far the most knowledgeable about every aspect of renovations. He quietly oversaw contractors and all aspects of this job. We will recommend you to anyone who asks. Thank you all very much!"
